One of the most iconic landmarks in North Down is opening its doors to visitors.
Scrabo Tower boasts the most amazing views over Strangford Lough, Newtownards and surrounding countryside. Built in 1857, the tower serves as a memorial to Charles Stewart, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry, who inherited the title and family seat of Mount Stewart, and stands 540 feet above sea level.
With family tickets (up to 5 people) costing just £10 and parking on site, it's a great opportunity to embrace your inner Rapunzel or Jon Snow for the day.
